Opinions are improving, and more users are pointing out the advantages rather than the disadvantages. Moreover, the game became one of the most successful in Capcom's history.
As more reviews appear on the game's Steam page, the average score increases. The game started with a rating of 35% on Steam, then reached 40% with 7000 reviews, and at the time of publication of the note with 33 thousand opinions it grew to 51%.
But the main thing is – This is the number of concurrent users on Steam. Even with performance issues on PC, this is one of Capcom's best releases on PC. The game peaked at 228,585 concurrent players, making it the third most popular game in the company's history, surpassed by only the last two Monster Hunter games.
Opinions of Dragon's Dogma 2 have softened after players realized the nature of the additional content. While it's still annoying to see items locked behind a paywall, most of them are of little value and can be obtained in significant quantities through gameplay. But there are complaints in terms of optimization – the game does not yet work as it should.
