A video comparison of Silent Hill 2 Remake with the PS2 version has surfaced, highlighting the graphical improvements.
A couple of days ago, Konami released a video for Silent Hill 2 Remake, and blogger El Analista de Bits published a video comparing the new version of the game with the original.
Creator content noted that he was trying to highlight the main changes in the technical side of the remake, which will be released on PS5 and PC on October 8, 2024.
One of the main differences made by Bloober Team in Silent Hill 2 Remake, there is a new view of the main character from the back for better “immersion”. You can also notice some changes in the plot: instead of a tunnel, the main character James encounters a monster in the house.
The studio slightly changed the game world, for example, moved some buildings to other locations, and the fog became more realistic and ominous.
