Such trucks will be provided as part of cargo transportation services
Russian company «EvoCargo» introduced the highly automated Evocargo N1 electric truck, completely developed in-house.
An autonomous electric truck transports goods on the territory of manufacturing and industrial enterprises, warehouse complexes and distribution centers with the ability to operate 24/7.
Its carrying capacity is 2 tons, and its range on one charge — up to 200 km. It can be charged from a standard 220W household outlet while loading and unloading.
Evocargo N1’s autonomy is ensured by the 5th generation autopilot system. Its difference from its analogues is the absence of a cabin in the traditional sense — no seat for the driver, no steering wheel and no seat.
It is planned that in the future the trucks will use lithium-ion batteries from Rosatom's business line, which produces electricity storage systems.
According to the company, transport does not need to be purchased; it is provided to the business within the framework of the Robots-as-a-Service — service model. the entire process of cargo transportation, including vehicle maintenance, is transferred to the supplier.
