The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim has many fans who are actively creating all kinds of modifications. Sometimes development can take a long time

The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim has been developing an ambitious modification of Lordbound for about 10 years. This is a massive story expansion with additional content.

Lordbound is expected to have over 60 hours of original content. For this mod, they prepared the Druadach Valley location, more than 40 new quests and fifty dungeons. It also claims to be “the biggest main quest you'll ever experience in Skyrim, with choices and consequences that will change the state of affairs in the valley.” Interesting loot, as well as voiced NPCs and an original soundtrack, are also announced.

The authors have not yet decided on the exact release date of Lordbound, but recently in Discord they indicated the release window (this is not yet final date, everything may change during work):

«Most of our efforts lately have been focused on fixing bugs, polishing and improving neglected areas of the mod. We have a list of things we want to complete, this has allowed us to create an internal “countdown” checklist of everything we want to achieve before launching 1.0. While this is a “living” document, updated as we find new things that need attention, it has allowed us to quantify the remaining work on the mod.

< p>Given this, I can say with medium-high confidence that we are targeting a late 2024 release“.

The Lordbound modification for The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim has a page on ModDB, you can find it here.
