Following the Citroen C5 Aircross, the company «Automotive Technologies» will launch production of another crossover in Kaluga, as stated by the company's director of strategic development Pavel Bezruchenko.
«By the end of the year, we plan to start producing at least one more model, it will be in the SUV segment. Regarding the further expansion of the model range — There are already enough classic sedans on the market, but not all form factors are represented. If we are talking about liftbacks, why not? We are also looking in this direction», — reported Bezruchenko.
He added that the company plans to enter the light commercial vehicle market, but did not name specific models and timing.
Previously, Citroen C5 Aircross began to be sold in Russia at a price of 4.3 million rubles. The equipment includes six airbags, Alcantara and eco-leather seat trim, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry with an engine start button, an all-round camera, a driver fatigue monitoring system, heated front seats, electric driver's seat and fifth door and other options.
