The main 50-megapixel sensor is responsible for the 2x optical zoom in this model
Today, open sales of the flagship model of the Huawei Nova 12 line started in China – Nova 12 Ultra. The smartphone is offered in two configurations: 12/512 GB for $660 and 12 GB/1 TB for $770.
Huawei Nova 12 Ultra is built on the Kirin 9000SL SoC with an integrated 5G modem, and HarmonyOS 4.0 serves as the software platform. The OLED screen has a diagonal of 6.76 inches, Full HD+ resolution and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The weight of the smartphone is 198 grams, thickness – 7.68 mm.
The main module of the main camera is the same as that of the flagship of the Mate line: with a 50-megapixel sensor and a lens with a variable aperture F/1.4-4.0. It is this sensor that is responsible for 2x optical zoom and 5x hybrid zoom. In a module with an ultra-wide-angle lens – 8 megapixel sensor.
Dual front camera – with sensors with a resolution of 60 and 8 megapixels. The module with the latter uses a lens with EGF 52 mm and 2x optical zoom.
The battery capacity is 4600 mAh, it supports 100 W wired charging. There is no support for wireless charging, but there is reverse wired charging with a power of 5 W. Huawei Nova 12 Ultra supports two-way satellite communication.
