It obviously won’t be cheaper than the Core i9-13900KS, which costs $700 in the US
The Benchlife resource, citing its own sources, reported that the flagship Intel Core i9-14900KS processor will go on sale in about a month – in mid-March.
The configuration of the Core i9-14900KS is no different from the Core i9-14900K or Core i9-14900KF: it has 8 high-performance cores and 16 energy-efficient ones, the CPU can execute 32 threads simultaneously. But the frequency of the Core i9-14900KS is increased to 6.2 GHz, and the TDP value is 150 W (PL1) versus 125 W for the Core i9-14900K.
We have already written in detail about the Core i9-14900KS: it turned out to be hot and “voracious”. The price has not yet been announced, but it will clearly not be cheaper than the Core i9-13900KS, which costs $700 in the US.
