Instead of the flagship Honor Magic6 Pro, a simpler and cheaper smartphone debuted today – Magic6. Unlike the older version, it has a simpler camera (there is no periscope module with a giant resolution), a smaller battery capacity, a lower charging speed, etc. But the price is lower.
Honor Magic6 has three versions: 12/256 GB – $710, 16/256 GB – $750 and 16/512 GB – $790
The screen is exactly the same as the Pro version, only slightly smaller – 6.78 inches instead of 6.8 inches. The OLED panel is characterized by a resolution of 1.5K, a frame rate of 120 Hz, «global» peak brightness 1600 cd/sq.m, PWM adjustment frequency 4320 Hz.
Front camera sensor resolution – 50 MP. Main camera – with sensors with a resolution of 50 MP (OmniVision OVH9000, F/1.9, OIS), 50 MP (with ultra-wide-angle lens) and 32 MP (2.5x optical zoom, 50x maximum zoom, OIS). Magic6 differs from the older model in the absence of a variable aperture lens and a periscope module.
The battery capacity is 5450 mAh, it supports wired charging with a power of 66 W and wireless charging with a power of 50 W. The hardware platform is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and the software platform – This is Honor MagicOS 8.0.
