Blackview has officially announced that the flagship dual-screen smartphone Blackview BL8000 will be released on January 17 this year.
The secondary square display provides messages, notifications and call information, plus access to a compass, weather forecast, camera and more. This screen also allows you to take selfies with the main 50-megapixel camera with Samsung GN5 sensor. The wide-angle camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels, the front camera is equipped with a 16 megapixel sensor.
The smartphone has a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2.4K and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Maximum brightness reaches 550 cd/m2. The smartphone is built on a single-chip Dimensity 7050 system, it received DDR5 RAM with a capacity of up to 24 GB (12 GB physical and 12 GB virtual) and UFS 3.1 flash memory with a capacity of 512 GB. It scored 619,369 points in the AnTuTu test.
Blackview BL8000 is reinforced with rubber corners and aluminum alloy frame, it is IP68/IP69K rated and MIL-STD 810H certified. In addition, it can withstand temperatures from −40 to +80°C, and its screen recognizes touches with gloves thanks to support for Glove Mode 2.0. It will support updated 4-in-1 navigation with dual frequency GPS.
The smartphone runs Android 13 with the latest DokeOS 4.0. It received a battery with a capacity of 8800 mAh, providing 10 hours of gaming. It can be charged to 50% in just 38 minutes with 33W fast charging.
