The Yandex team announced the start of beta testing among new generation users of its digital assistant — «Alice». Users who left a request on the site in December were among the first to receive access.
If you haven't done so yet, you can still follow the link and submit a request to participate. Now the YandexGPT 2 neural network is built into «Alice» — she learned to give interesting, detailed answers even to complex questions. The developers explained:
A virtual assistant will help you understand an unfamiliar topic and generate creative ideas. For example, say: “Alice, create a menu for a three-course New Year’s dinner for seven people.” or «Alice, write a cover letter for the designer’s resume».
New «Alice» works at «Stations», including the new «Midi» and «Duo Max», «TV Stations» and «TV Stations Pro», in Yandex services and applications and the new «Chat with Alice».
For users of «Stations» New skills have also emerged for children and elderly relatives. In the application «House with Alice» the «Beta» section appeared with useful scenarios for parents. Alice will help control the amount of time the child spends with the «Station», wake you up on time, do exercises, remind you to brush your teeth, read a fairy tale before bed, and also turn on educational quests and offer educational games during the day. < /p>
Also, the application will help you respond in time when elderly loved ones need urgent help. It’s enough to say the command at the “Station”: “Alice, call your loved ones for help.” The virtual assistant will call and send SMS to the numbers specified in the application.
