The plan to produce 500 thousand cars in 2024 has been confirmed
The flagship of the Russian automobile industry, AvtoVAZ, at the final meeting of the board of directors yesterday approved the development strategy until 2030. In accordance with it, the company will release 12 new models until 2030.
This year AvtoVAZ will produce more than 374 thousand cars – a record for the last 10 years for the production of Lada cars, but less than the projected volume of 400 thousand units. Production plan for 2024– 500 thousand cars. The investment program for 2024 will exceed 40 billion rubles.
AvtoVAZ imported more than 1.2 thousand critical materials and components. In 2023, the automaker hired more than 2.5 thousand new employees.
