A few weeks ago, rumors appeared that the giant wants to release its products on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch in the near future. There is no official confirmation from the company yet, but some individuals believe that there is evidence.
New graphics have appeared in the Hi-Fi Rush database, two of which indicate that the game will be released on competing platforms. On a blue background it says “I’m Here Baby!”, which allegedly confirms the release of the rhythm adventure on PlayStation devices, and on a red background it says “Rock Out! Anywhere”, which indicates a new version on Nintendo Switch.
The pictures have caused quite a bit of controversy, as some well-known journalists in the industry have boldly stated that they are real. Editor Tom Warren of The Verge has confirmed that the files are indeed Hi-Fi Rush:
“I can confirm that the Hi-Fi data file Fi Rush is real and that the image files are in the game. Looks like Hi-Fi Rush will be coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch.”
There are also reports that Sea of Thieves will appear on PlayStation. Steven Totilo, who until recently worked at Axios and now writes for Game File, has no doubt that Microsoft's product will appear on competing devices. Editor Jez Corden of Windows Central echoed his sentiments.
