The first prototype should appear a year earlier

Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Pyotr Parkhomchik said that the serial production of the twin-engine light turboprop aircraft «Osvey» could start in 2027. The other day Parkhomchik mentioned that the first prototype of a 19-seater aircraft under a joint project between Russia and Belarus should be built in 2026.

First we need to fly a little, to make sure that we confirm the technical characteristics that the designer laid down. If everything works out — 2027 we begin mass production in parallel with Russian manufacturers.
