In an interview with Variety, Discovery's global streaming and gaming general manager JB Perrett spoke about the relationship between the studio and its games.

He stated that there has not been a close relationship with the games department in the past, and there are no plans to force adaptations of games based on the character's current popularity. This means that the new film does not guarantee an adaptation of the game.

CEO added:

“While they're working on the movie, we're not going to launch a Superman game just because we feel obligated.”

The team wants to focus on a game that fans will enjoy. Therefore, there are currently no plans for a Superman project.

Warner Bros recently announced a Superman game similar to Hogwarts Legacy. But the statement appears to have been misinterpreted as being in reference to Warner Bros.'s overall view of such adaptations.
