Russian electric car manufacturer «Atom» JSC «Kama» is considering the possibility of exporting it to the markets of Indonesia, Iran and Uzbekistan. Anatoly Kiyashko, director for interaction with government bodies of the company, told reporters about this. According to him, JSC «Kama» examines countries where the electric vehicle market is actively developing: these are Indonesia, Iran, Uzbekistan and South American countries. Thus, negotiations with Indonesia are already underway.
Kiyashko noted that building factories in these countries may not be profitable, but it may be possible to export electric vehicles. In addition, the operating system «Atom OS» Can also be installed on electric vehicles of other brands. The company is ready to offer its software to foreign partners, one of the advantages of which is a high level of cybersecurity, said a representative of JSC «Kama», emphasizing that the «Atom» completely protects the car from external threats.
Recall that the domestic electric car «Atom», more precisely, its functional prototype, was first presented in May last year. Its mass production and sales should begin in the second half of 2025, but for now only pre-orders are available. The electric car has a range of up to 500 km from a single charge and can accelerate to 100 km/h in 7 seconds.
