They use iridium and platinum

At the former factory «Robert Bosch Saratov» (now the company is called «Engels Spark Plugs») began to produce Meteor spark plugs with precious metals. These are suitable for powerful cars.

As the company said, the use of iridium and platinum increases the service life of spark plugs by three to four times. The components are included in the so-called «black» ruler.

Meteor Auto has three lines in total: «black» — top, «green» — basic (nickel spark plugs), and blue — intermediate, it includes spark plugs with increased wear resistance and corrosion protection.
