Microsoft Gaming is exploring the possibility of releasing more games on the PlayStation 5, including a remaster of the first game in the Halo series, Hellblade 2 and Starfield, The Verge reports. The publication often reports truthful information about Microsoft's internal plans.
Following the release of Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Grounded and Pentiment on Sony consoles, Microsoft Gaming is allegedly developing Halo: Combat Evolved Remastered and exploring the pros and cons of releasing a version for PlayStation 5. Additionally, Editor Tom Warren reported that “Project Latitude,” the internal plan that determines which Xbox Game Studios games will be released on competing consoles, is focused on Starfield, Hellblade 2, Age of Mythology, Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition, a Halo remaster and DOOM: The Dark Ages, the latter of which hasn't even been announced yet.
Warren stressed that these games are not confirmed for PS5, they are simply on the list of features being explored internally by the Microsoft team.
