The performance difference is only 1-3%

We have already looked at the Snapdragon X Elite SoC tests in laptops, but new details are gradually emerging. For example, as it turned out, at least in the Asus Vivobook S 15, the new Qualcomm platform can work almost equally well both from the mains and from the battery.

The Snapdragon X Elite benchmark results hardly change when the power is turned off, meaning the system does not reduce the platform frequency. The difference is within 1-3%, which can be neglected.

This is good news for those who need all possible performance away from the outlet. At the same time, when autonomy is more important, you can simply activate one of the power saving modes.
