According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the launch batch of the Apple Vision Pro will quickly sell out, followed by shortages.

«Due to demand from core Apple fans and active users, the Vision Pro will sell out soon after the device becomes available for pre-order or sale, resulting in longer shipping times», & ;mdash; Kuo stated.

«However, what is even more important is whether demand for Vision Pro can remain at a high level. It all depends on whether Vision Pro's positioning and key applications are clear and correct», — added the analyst.

Apple has improved Vision Pro even before release: the headset will work longer without recharging

Kuo noted that Apple may have to reveal more details about the headset ahead of pre-order or launch to maintain sales momentum and attract developers. Currently starting at $99, Zeiss lens inserts are the only additional purchase for the Vision Pro headset that Apple has announced.

Apart from that, Apple only said that the Vision Pro will be available «starting at $3,500 with 256GB of storage», suggesting that customers will be offered a range of configuration options at increasing prices.

The Vision Pro headset includes a knitted Solo strap, a double loop strap, a light seal, two lightweight sealing pads, a front cover, a polishing cloth, a battery pack, a USB-C charging cable, and USB cable.

Apple says Vision Pro — it is «a revolutionary spatial computer that is changing the way people work, collaborate, communicate, relive memories and enjoy entertainment».

Apple plans to begin offering demos of Vision Pro at Apple retail stores in the US on launch day, with pre-orders beginning on January 19th.
