Ray tracing will improve significantly

It seems that the latest information about the Sony PlayStation 5 Pro game console is indeed correct or very close to the truth. At least today's leak of Moore's Law Is Dead was confirmed by the famous journalist and insider Tom Henderson.

He stated that the characteristics published by Moore's Law Is Dead are real, and the console itself will be released by the holiday season of the current year, that is, at the end of the year. They will probably announce it significantly earlier.

The documentation was leaked from the PlayStation developer portal, so it is unlikely that the production device will have any significant differences from what is described in the documents.

Henderson added that the performance of the PS5 Pro without ray tracing will be 45% higher than that of the PS5. That is, this is approximately the level of the Radeon RX 7700 XT or close to the RTX 4070. However, this is not all. Performance when activating ray tracing effects will be two to three, and sometimes even four times higher than that of the PS5, and in addition, as we have already said, the new console will receive a new upscale technology (PSSR), which will improve performance even further .
