The Hades franchise returned in 2024. Some decided to remember or get acquainted with the original product
Hades 2 was recently launched into early access on Steam. Supergiant Games offered quite a lot of content, but this is still far from the final version of the game.
Some gamers decided to return (or try for the first time) and play the first Hades – it was once also developed under the early access program.
Judging by SteamDB data, starting from May 6 (the launch of the second part) you can see a series of online records – at first the peak was just over 35 thousand, and at the weekend it exceeded 52 thousand players.
The rating of the first Hades on Steam is about 98% with 250+ thousand reviews.
The second part has everything too good: in the first week after launching in early access, Hades 2 received over 20 thousand positive reviews, about 94% of them are positive, and the peak online number is above 103 thousand players.
Concerning the duration of Hades 2 Early Access, the developers said the following:
“We expect that Hades II will remain in Early Access until at least the end of 2024. Due to the specifics of the development process, we cannot yet set a release date for the full version.”
