The recently presented third-generation Dacia/Renault Duster will exchange the single-volume body for a version with a cargo platform. In other words, the car will turn into a pickup truck — and Renault has already done this.

Duster Oroch — is well known in South America. pickup based on Renault Duster. And now, according to Autocar India, the company is planning to release a successor to the Oroch. The new model may retain the name, but will be built on the basis of the latest third-generation Renault Duster, presented a few months ago, and stylistically the new product will be similar to the recently shown Niagara concept.

According to Autocar India, the new pickup will have two wheelbase options, and the top version will have all-wheel drive, but not the traditional mechanical one, but with an electric motor on the rear axle. It is also planned to expand sales markets by creating a right-hand drive version. Moreover, a clone of such a pickup truck with a monocoque body may appear under the Nissan brand.
