The executive business-class sedan Lada Aura has already appeared at a dealer in Moscow, but don’t expect sales to begin in the near future. Previously, AvtoVAZ stated that cars would be available for purchase only next fall.
Last week, AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov said that the new Lada Aura business class sedan is now planned to be sold to private individuals. Earlier, the head of the company noted that they plan to supply Lada Aura to the public sector. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation confirmed that the department plans to purchase Lada Aura for the needs of officials.
Let us remind you that this is an extended sedan on the Vesta platform, which is 25 cm longer in wheelbase, it received improved sound insulation, a retractable rear armrest, a genuine leather interior and a premium audio system. The equipment includes a 1.8-liter 122-horsepower engine, which works with a CVT.
The Lada Aura executive sedan, crossover and a number of new AvtoVAZ cars will become electric vehicles, as announced in December.
