LawBreakers will still be remembered in 2024. The game failed to gain a foothold in the market, but the project still has fans
LawBreakers came out in 2017 and wasn't a big hit at launch. The record peak online on Steam was just over 7 thousand players.
Nevertheless, the heroic shooter LawBreakers has gathered a certain fan community around itself. The transition to a shareware distribution model did not help gather a large audience and subsequently the project was simply closed. However, some players would like to return their favorite shooter.
Enthusiasts responded to the request: in 2020, the RELB project was created, the authors of which sought to make LawBreakers playable again. Gears of War co-author Cliff Bleszinski recalled the project in 2024 and invited those wishing to participate in testing. The RELB Project Discord channel is available here – you can find instructions and information about the tests: https://discord.com/invite/PgZyr4MECb
For this LawBreakers revival, fans are using the Ancify launcher platform. Previously, the developers noted that this shooter will be the first game with a server emulator on Ancify, they are not against expanding the offer.
