The plant issued six instructions for vehicle modifications to dealers at once
We have already written more than once about the problems faced by Lada Vesta owners: many complain about inadequately working wipers, brake lights that work as they please (or do not work at all), night battery discharge — This is not a complete list. But now AvtoVAZ has finally heard the complaints and began to take concrete steps to eliminate the problems: dealers received six orders for mandatory service work at once.
Within the framework of «Instructions No. 68-23» They will replace the brake pedal position sensor, on which the operation of brake lights and ABS depends (for some owners of Lada Vesta ABS does not work in the cold).
«Instruction No. 109-23» affects the gear shift mechanism on Lada Vesta and Granta. If necessary, it will be replaced as a whole. Within the framework of «Regulation No. 119-23» They will reprogram the engine management system controller (for many the engine jerks for no reason) and the ABS unit. A «Instruction No. 120-23» indicates the need to reprogram the Universal Body Electronics Unit and replace (or reprogram) the remote control board. The interesting thing here is that now dealers will reprogram the keys themselves, since they received programmers. Previously, keys were sent to the factory, and many owners complained that the procedure took a very long time.
More issued «Instruction No. 86-23» and «Regulation No. 110-23». The first regulates work with roof moldings, the second — replacement of steering column switches, due to which the turn signals do not work and/or the windshield wiper does not work adequately.
For owners of Lada Vesta and Granta, all this work will be carried out free of charge.
