The 12VHPWR power connector was once again causing problems. CableMod is recalling its 12VHPWR adapters

Including the second revision

The 12VHPWR connector has been on the market for quite some time, but it still causes problems. CableMod has launched a recall campaign asking customers to return their 12VHPWR adapters and stop using them immediately. 

We are talking about corner adapters CableMod 12VHPWR 90°/180° versions 1.0 and 1.1. The company says the plug connector can become loose, overheat and melt. The company also notes that the problem does not affect its cables.  

Recall that in September we reported that CableMod's L-shaped cables were also problematic.
