The car is offered in two versions – for 6 and 7 seats
Telegram channel «Autostream» revealed details of the appearance in Russia of large SUVs Polestones 01 from the Chinese electric startup Rox Motor. It turns out that the Chinese company Kaihe sells them in Russia, and the cars travel through Kyrgyzstan and clear them through customs to individuals.
Maxim Lopatin, executive director of Kaihe, said that the first cars arrived in Moscow last Saturday, and 10 more should arrive this week. Both 6- and 7-seater versions of the Polestones 01 are offered, with the 7-seater even cheaper – 6.35 million rubles versus 6.5 million. But the 7-seater version does not have a spare wheel and the wheels are 20-inch, not 21-inch like the 6-seater.
There is no Russian language in the Polestones 01 on-board system – English only. They plan to Russify the firmware by summer. Kaihe does not have the status of an official distributor of Rox Motor. But this is possible if there is demand – it is estimated at 2,000 cars sold in six months. At the moment, SUVs are sold through partner car dealerships (multi-brand). The plans include opening your own site and obtaining OTTS… if there is demand.
There are no spare parts for Polestones 01 cars in Russia; you will have to order them (and consumables too) in China. There is not yet a single car service center in Russia where you can go for diagnostics and service, but Kaihe employees have been trained to work with diagnostic equipment.
