The enterprise will be built next year
Kazakhstan already has a large production of Hyundai cars called Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan, and soon an even larger production will appear that will produce Kia cars. The new plant will be located in Kostanay and will produce 70 thousand Kia cars per year.
The enterprise will create 1,500 jobs in the region. 50 thousand cars will be produced using a small-unit method, but complete localization of production is probably also envisaged. Construction of the plant will be completed next year.
Recall that yesterday it was reported that a large production of Hyundai cars will open in Uzbekistan. Hyundai Elantra, Tucson, Sonata, Santa Fe, Palisade and Staria will be assembled there.
