After a series of transfers, Inflexion Games has released survival Nightingale into early access for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The team, led by Bioware veteran Aarin Flynn, calls Nightingale a fantasy survival game in which players explore magical places in hopes of finding the city that gives the game its name.
Nightingale has mechanics for building, collecting resources and Kingdom Cards, which allows you to randomly change elements of the scenario, from biomes to difficulty.
Nightingale can be played in co-op mode for up to 6 players or alone with allies controlled by artificial intelligence.
Over the next 9-12 months, Nightingale will remain in early access, polishing it and getting new features. Within the first few hours of the game's release on Steam, Nightingale peaked at over 47,000 concurrent players.
At the time of publication, the game had a 55% rating after 1,700 opinions. The main complaints are crashes and optimization. Russian-speaking users complain about the lack of translation.
