Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake CPUs will be based on this process technology
Sometimes no better than the old Core and worse than the old Ryzen. Tests of the new Intel Meteor Lake processors show that these are good CPUs only on their own
Intel announced that it is ready to produce semiconductor products using the Intel 20A process next year.
We are talking about the 2 nm process technology, although in the case of updated Intel names it is difficult to prepare for sure. Recall that Intel 7 and Intel 4 were previously called 10nm and 7nm process technology, respectively.
Be that as it may, Intel is catching up with the market giants. TSMC and Samsung have previously said they will also start producing 2nm products sometime in 2024, so Intel wants to keep up.
Actually, Intel has no other options. Let us remind you that the Intel 20A process technology will be used to produce Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake processors, and they should be released next year. True, as in the case of the latest Meteor Lake, Intel itself will produce only some chiplets for the new CPUs.
