It can be used in other aircraft
Institute of Power Electronics NSTU NETI from Novosibirsk in collaboration with PJSC «AK Rubin» developed a digital braking system for the Russian passenger aircraft Il-114-300.
It was created with the goal of replacing imported solutions and consists of domestic components (including microprocessor control). Moreover, the system turned out to be universal — it can be implemented in other models of domestic aircraft. The advanced braking system has already been installed on the second prototype Il-114-300 aircraft, which began certification tests in March 2024.
Il-114-300 — this is the future of Russian regional aviation. It is capable of carrying 68 passengers, the flight range with a maximum number of passengers — 1400 km.
