Creating a AAA-level project is becoming more and more expensive, and it takes more and more time. There are reports online about another game that may be in “developer hell.” We're talking about Wonder Woman.
Kinda Funny podcast host Greg Miller reported that Monolith Productions' game was experiencing difficulties during development. Wonder Woman is a single-player open-world project. It was recently reported that Warner Bros. Montreal (creators of Gotham Knights) was delegated to help Monolith work on their game.
If the rumors are true, there will most likely be a significant release delay. It must be said that Warner's gaming division is having a hard time. Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad “failed to live up to expectations,” and Wonder Woman's situation could prove to be another major problem. Howarts Legacy was successful, but in the future the corporation wants to rely on shareware games and games-services.
Wonder Woman will certainly be the next major release, because the developers are responsible for the game Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War.
