The BYD Song Plus DM-i car was presented, details of which were published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
The new version retains the same general design as the previously released BYD Song Plus DM-i, but has a different rear and the Build Your Dreams logo has been replaced with a simpler BYD nameplate.
The car retains the same dimensions: 4775 mm in length, 1890 mm in width and 1670 mm in height, and the wheelbase is 2765 mm. The new BYD Song Plus DM-i now features the BYD472QC engine while retaining the 1.5-litre hybrid setup. However, the maximum engine power decreased slightly from 81 to 74 kW. In contrast, the new model's electric motor is capable of delivering up to 160 kW, compared to the previous model's 145 kW.
BYD Song Plus DM-i is priced from $17,900 to $23,400 and has a pure electric range of 71 to 150 km.
