Metaphyuni and Gzosmeta have jointly developed a docking station for creating an external video card.
The device, called EG01C, is a housing that is not usual for such products, namely a docking station. It's a small case with a PCIe slot on top. In this form, the video card is not protected by anything, but takes up less space. In addition, there are no restrictions on the length of the adapter.
The docking station itself contains a 550 W power supply inside. All this is housed in a case with dimensions of 750 × 230 × 90 mm with a weight of 2.08 kg. Connection to the PC occurs via Oculink, and the price is only $125, which is two to three times less than what famous brands charge for cases for external video cards. Moreover, for some time there is a discount on the new product, so you can buy it for only $90.
