Microsoft intends to massively train people in India in technologies related to artificial intelligence.

The company said it wants to train 2 million Indians in AI-related skills by 2025. The ADVANTA(I)GE INDIA initiative is part of the Microsoft Skills for Jobs program, which is designed to empower the Indian workforce. This initiative, in turn, is part of Microsoft's broader program to accelerate the transformation of the artificial intelligence market in the country.

The initiative will focus primarily on three key areas of AI: upskilling government officials in AI, equipping future workers, and working to build AI capabilities in nonprofit organizations.
