In energy saving mode, the noise level will be only 17 dBA
Lenovo published a teaser dedicated to its first AI laptop — Xiaoxin Pro AI Ultrabook 2024. One of the main features of the device will be low noise level.
The image shows the cooling system of the Xiaoxin Pro AI Ultrabook 2024. Everything here is pretty standard for a model that does not have a dGPU: two heat pipes and two fans. The creators say that the minimum noise level of the system will be only 17 dBA, and this is really low. But there is a nuance: we are talking about noise at the minimum fan speed in energy saving mode. And although Lenovo says that the laptop’s performance in this mode will be high, it will still be far from what the Core Ultra processor can show in maximum performance mode.
The official premiere of the new product, apparently, will take place this week – right after Intel introduces the CPU Core Ultra. Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro AI Ultrabook 2024 will receive 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, a battery with a capacity of 84 Wh (the predecessor has 75 Wh) and support for 100-watt charging.
