German Magirus-Deutz trucks, which took part in the construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) in the 1970s, are sold in Russia.

In the USSR at that time, it was decided to purchase a large batch of 10 thousand Magirus trucks for the needs of large-scale construction. Two- and three-axle flatbed trucks and Magirus-Deutz dump trucks with hooded cabs were supplied to the Soviet Union.

The most popular model was the Magirus-Deutz 290D26 three-axle dump truck, which was equipped with a 14.7-liter engine producing 290 hp. and a six-speed manual transmission. Its carrying capacity was 16.6 tons with a 6×4 wheel arrangement.

A seller from the Amur region, who has several of these dump trucks left, intends to earn about 800 thousand rubles for each vehicle, although the final price is open for discussion.
