Kyivstar announced a new wave of tariff updating, which will also affect and subscriptions – this time the terms of those that have not been updated since last year or earlier are subject to revision. New conditions for more than 20 tariffs will take effect from April 9.
Kyivstar increases tariffs – when, what and how much
Kyivstar reported on the website on March 26 about changes in the conditions of some prepayment tariffs and the Kyivstar contract in the most opaque way – the operator focuses on “updating the content” without proper information about the actual changes and increase in the cost of services. For some subscription tariffs, conditions change from April 9, 2024, for contract tariffs and business clients – from May 1, 2024. Subscribers have already begun to receive SMS “happy lists” with details about the new conditions and current costs, which are necessarily sent out at least 7 days before the changes are implemented.

Traditionally, the operator sweetens the bitter pill of price increases by increasing the volume of services in these tariffs: promising more mobile Internet, minutes for calls and services such as Superpowers or Roaming at home. Unfortunately, the operator did not provide a complete list of tariffs in which conditions and prices change, but it is provided by the MZU Telegram channel.

We compared it with the list of archived tariffs on the Kyivstar website and found several SMS screenshots from subscribers (below) that confirm the changes and are somewhat puzzled by some of the wording.
New terms of payment for services outside the tariff
Separately, Kyivstar warns about the unification of payment terms for additional service packages after using the main one, such as Internet, calls and SMS. Previously, after using tariff gigabytes, the subscriber paid 10 UAH for every subsequent 100 MB. Now for 20 UAH the company will provide unlimited Internet until the end of the day.
Subscribers can find out more details about the changes by calling 477*9 or in the My Kyivstar application. The operator separately notes that instead of the company’s offer, clients can always choose any other from the current line, which better suits their needs in terms of volume of services and cost.
