Kia Sorento sells 30 times better than Mohave
Kia has decided to retire the large frame SUV Mohave: production of the car in South Korea will cease in July of this year.
The main reason for abandoning Mohave is banal — SUV is not in demand. Thus, in April, 257 Mohave units were sold against 7.8 thousand Sorento crossovers. Mohave no longer meets increasingly stringent environmental standards.
Kia Tasman will be produced instead of Mohave — the brand's first frame pickup truck. Production will also be loaded with new hybrid models. Will Mohave have a direct successor — unknown.
Recall that previously the Kia Mohave was officially sold in Russia. For an SUV with a three-liter diesel engine producing 249 hp. and all-wheel drive they asked for almost 6 million rubles.
