The wait for the sixth major patch for Baldur's Gate 3 lasted a little longer than many fans expected. Looks like someone was joking
On February 14, some Baldur's Gate 3 fans were preparing to download the sixth major patch with many fixes and improvements. However, Larian Studios did not please the community on this date; the update was released only a couple of days later.
The attention of members of the Baldur's Gate 3 community was attracted by a post from user Marina. It appeared a few days before February 14th. Since the developers are offering improved kisses with the sixth major patch, it has been suggested that the release will take place on the 14th. Larian Studios noticed this post and responded with a “rejection” using a meme.
They didn’t attach much importance to this then, but they remembered it on the 14th, since they never received the update that day. Some began to assume that the release was postponed because of such a prophetic joke.
At first, everything was written off as just another “crazy fan theory,” but then indirect confirmation of the original plan to release the update on February 14 (Wednesday) appeared from Larian boss Sven Vincke himself .
On a social network, the creator, in response to a post about the release of the sixth patch for Baldur's Gate 3, wrote: “Shouldn’t this have happened on Wednesday?.”
