Only three years left

Intel recently introduced a business unit called Intel Foundry and a new technological process Intel 14A — the first technical process outside the group currently being developed. A few days passed, and the company announced an even more sophisticated technical process — Intel 10A.

The name suggests that this is a 1nm process technology, but according to Intel itself. Let us recall that the company itself previously called its Intel 7 process technology 10-nanometer, and Intel 4 — seven-nanometer. Be that as it may, this does not mean that this ratio will remain in the future.

Intel is going to begin mass production of products according to Intel 10A standards by the end of 2027. Previously, the company almost always had problems mastering new technological norms, but now Intel is well within the deadlines.
