Japanese automobile concern Toyota Motor has temporarily suspended the operation of six production lines at four factories in Japan due to falsification of diesel engine power data provided by contractor Toyota Industries Corporation.
This information was reported by the NHK TV channel, which clarified that the cessation of production at the factories of the Japanese company will last until February 1, 2024.
Toyota had previously decided to suspend the supply of several diesel engines and 10 models equipped with these engines, including popular cars such as the Land Cruiser 300 and Hilux.
