Sony's new job posting indicates that the industry giant not only wants to create more smartphones to compete for the $90 billion market, but also plans to implement a platform for game development.
PlayStation Studios Mobile is looking for an experienced software engineer to develop the PlayStation platform for creating, publishing and operating free-to-play mobile games. The individual will lead the development and implementation of the platform, work with internal teams to connect mobile games to PlayStation services, and ensure that all mobile games meet PlayStation quality standards.
The individual will Have significant experience in the mobile games industry, exceeding eight years, and specifically include experience as a technical lead in a corporate environment.
