The BMW i3 sedan is exclusive to the Chinese market
Offers for the long-wheelbase electric BMW i3 sedan have appeared on the Auto.ru marketplace. This car should not be confused with the discontinued BMW i3 hatchback, which was sold in both Europe and the USA: the BMW i3 sedan is exclusive to the Chinese market. And now it has become available to Russians.
True, the prices are considerable: for a car produced in 2023 they ask from 6.79 to 7.59 million rubles. Taking into account discounts for trade-in and financial programs, the price can drop to 5.99 million rubles.
The dimensions of the vehicle are 4872 x 1846 x 1481 mm, the wheelbase is 2966 mm. For comparison, the wheelbase of the latest BMW 5 Series in the G60 body is 2995 mm.
In Russia, the only version of the electric three is offered – the BMW i3 eDrive40L with a 340-horsepower electric motor on the rear axle and a traction battery with a capacity of 79.05 kWh, providing a range of up to 592 km. The interior equipment includes a digital dashboard, leather seats, a panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control, multi-zone climate control, and a top-end sound system.
