In 2024, parallel imports will bring the Auchan X5 Plus crossover to Russia (Auchan is a premium brand of Changan). One of the sellers has already even named the cost – «about 3 million rubles», and noted that in such a price niche the Auchan X5 Plus «simply won’t have any competitors in terms of the set of options».
Dimensions of Auchan X5 Plus are 4540 x 1860 x 1620 mm, wheelbase – 2715 mm. That is, in size it is comparable to the Volkswagen Tiguan. In equipment – a traditional Changan cluster of multiple screens on the front panel, adaptive cruise control, climate control, panoramic roof, leather interior, driver and front passenger seats with electric drive, heating and ventilation.
The technology is traditional for a Chinese crossover: a 1.5-liter turbo engine (in this case it produces 188 hp) and a 7-speed «robot».
