Hideo Kojima continues to work. Due to his unique reputation, his work gives rise to a lot of theories long before release.
In 2024, Hideo Kojima has no time for rest. There are a couple of game projects in the works, as well as something else (+ big plans).

«This year will be another year of simultaneous production of “DS2” and “OD”. DS2 still has some ADR left, and we'll start recording Japanese voice acting. I want to focus on making games, so I'd like to limit my travel, but I can't do anything about it because I have to shoot for OD, collaborate with Avengers [that's what he called the team of members OD], turning DS into a film and working on other video projects.
The wording of “DS2” intrigued some fans: there is a theory that the game could get a different name, also starting with D and S. However, the inquisitive minds of fans could “outplay” themselves a little – talking about the film adaptation of Kojima’s Death Stranding shortened the name to “DS”. Previously, Death Stranding 2 was presented as “working title“.
Hideo Kojima also plans to release new articles, launch a program on “HideTube” and, perhaps, also revive “Hide Radio” in the future.
2024 is the year of the dragon, Kojima is ready for it.
