GTA 5 can now be played using an emulator on smartphones. On Poco F3 with Snapdragon 870 the game runs at 25-30 FPS.
And the relatively new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor is capable of running GTA 5 with 40-50 FPS. This feat was accomplished by a Reddit user, but there are some hurdles to overcome to emulate the game on Android phones. In order for Wine esync to work natively, the smartphone must be rooted.
The community always predicted that this would happen one day, it just took over a decade to see real results. Modern devices are capable of reaching 60 FPS.
But not everything is so important, because it is unknown how Rockstar Games and Take-Two will react to such a phenomenon. If illegal versions of the game are used, legal proceedings are possible.
