Impressive 865kg load capacity and 815mm wading capability
Geely today officially unveiled the all-wheel drive version of its Radar RD6 electric pickup truck. This car was highly anticipated by many, because it not only has better dynamic characteristics (compared to the conventional rear-wheel drive version), but also greater load capacity.
In fact, the all-wheel drive Radar RD6 has two electric motors producing a total of 428 hp. This «herd» enough to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds (top speed — 190 km/h). This is, of course, without a load. The all-wheel drive Radar RD6 has a maximum payload of 865kg, which is significant for a vehicle with a heavy traction battery (and 370kg more than the Ford Ranger). The capacity of the traction battery has not been disclosed, but there is data on the power reserve: 460 km in the initial and mid-range configurations and 520 km in the top-end configuration.
Dimensions of Radar RD6 are 5260 x 1900 x 1880 mm, wheelbase — 3120 mm. Dimensions of the cargo compartment — 1525 x 1450 x 540 mm, its volume — 1200 l. The pickup truck can ford a depth of up to 815 mm.
The Radar RD6 has multiple sockets for connecting external consumers, resulting in a maximum output power of an impressive 21 kW.
