The creators of the Fallout series are revising their original plans due to unexpected success.
The phenomenal success of the spring premiere of the series based on the Fallout universe came as a surprise to many. The project was appreciated not only by critics, but by viewers. Even those who are not familiar with the series of games discovered this amazing world for the first time – sales of all games in the franchise soared. Thanks to this reception, the show was renewed for a second season.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Graham Wagner shed some light on the potential number of seasons. The fact is that at the start of production, the film crew discussed the possible length of the series and they were talking about three or five seasons. In the end we settled on three. But due to the sudden success, the team is reconsidering its plans and is inclined to stretch the show for five seasons. However, it’s too early to rejoice.

The further fate of the film adaptation will depend on audience acceptance – if fans want more, then “the show must go on” “, if they get tired, the series can be completed ahead of schedule. “The film industry is a temperamental thing, and we have to approach each season with the words: 'This is our last',” said Graham Wagner.
To questions about when viewers should expect the release of the second season, he answered: “As quickly as possible.”
