FSB launched a criminal investigation

The Federal Security Service (FSB) has launched a criminal investigation into the negligence of several employees of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

These employees, after the start of a special military operation, illegally removed almost 60 aircraft and helicopters from Russian jurisdiction. Some of these aircraft ended up in unfriendly countries and were used to provide Western assistance to Ukraine.

In particular, three Mi-8 helicopters took part in air defense on the enemy side, while Il-76 aircraft flew with their identification systems disabled. Disabling these systems made it possible to hide the routes of aircraft movement.

February 7, searches were carried out at the central office of the Federal Air Transport Agency in Moscow with the participation of employees of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The searches were aimed at finding evidence of illegal actions by Rosaviatsiya employees, including their participation in the deregistration of aircraft.
